APPLIED SCHOLASTICS

Applied Scholastics International, a nonprofit educational organization based in Missouri, was founded by a consortium of American educators in 1972. Administered by the Association for Better Living and Education, it is dedicated to the broad implementation of learning tools researched and developed by American author and educator L. Ron Hubbard.

Serving Every Arena

Applied Scholastics makes available L. Ron Hubbard’s educational technology on a global scale, functioning through more than 760 affiliates to the benefit of some 100,000 educators and 28 million students. It serves every conceivable educational arena—public and private K–12 schools, community-based learning programs, state and local government education agencies, professional training, tutoring centers—across some 70 nations of the world.

From inner cities in America and Europe to the townships and villages of Africa, Applied Scholastics provides training and materials on a system of learning that has been tested and proven successful in all educational settings with students of all ages and cultures.

Revitalizing Education

This precise system, termed Study Technology by L. Ron Hubbard, was founded upon decades of personal experience and educational research. As he wrote to Applied Scholastics in its formative stages, “It is of vital importance, as you are aware, that the quality of education be revitalized and improved. As man is as able as he can learn and know, it is urgent that a workable learning technology is available to him.”

Study Technology can easily be incorporated into any educational activity—from classroom instruction and curriculum design to employee training or homeschooling. It provides a stable foundation enhancing all educational efforts.

The application of Study Technology has quite literally salvaged millions of lives. And its broad use will achieve a world free from illiteracy, where people can learn anything and be anything.

LITE SCHOOL

We have also partnered with the LITE (Life Improvement Through Education) Language School, based in Prague, Czech Republic to leverage their course structure and learning materials. LITE shares our vision to achieve progression through education. LITE is under Applied Scholastic International and is the headquarters for ESL.(English as Second Language)

Courses are designed to improve your English SPEAKING skills within one year even if you have no prior exposure to the English language. However, to SPEAK fluently using the LITE methodology all course levels must be completed within the allocated time period. The course materials are structured to ensure that you will effectively communicate in English, which in turn will help you progress your career or make informed decisions in the future.
